Digitally-driven innovation is a great driver for stability and common prosperity in the Baltic region.

BEDI aims to further develop an established network between Sweden, Ukraine and Georgia. The network was created with a focus on entrepreneurship education, the next step is to support entrepreneurship action.

We will look outside the universities and start building an eco-system of companies and NGOs that can support young digital entrepreneurs in the early steps of their entrepreneurship ventures.

Our collaboration will strengthen young entrepreneurship culture in Sweden, Ukraine and Georgia.

The Room

The BEDI project aims to create a new concept - "The Room" – a physical place where young potential entrepreneurs can get help working on early stage ideas before they start a new company.

Examples of help can be: Creative idea generation and concept development, Meeting, Team building, Prototyping, Business modelling, Market analysis to name a few examples. The Room will be open, free and professional.

There is a lot to think about before making the decision to start a company – The Room can help more young persons to take the step to start a company. With the help of the room the fundament for the company will be better and the company more likely to succeed and scale.

We aim to have one The Room in Lviv and one in Tbilisi open for business by the summer 2017. The setup of The Room will be discussed in workshop in order to find solutions for local challenges.

Workshops

Within the BEDI project we will conduct workshops in Ukraine, Georgia and Sweden with invited key stakeholders from industry, policy and academia. The workshops will focus on how create The Room with a content that can: increase the innovation capacity through collaboration; identify drivers and barriers, exchange of good examples and lessons learned.
